Can you share a bit about your background and what inspired you to co-found Helix Medical Solutions?
I graduated from the Faculty of Science, Chemistry Specialization Department, in Egypt, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Analytical Bioscience. I started my career in aesthetics and laser surgery in 2009 in Saudi Arabia and was later promoted to Sales Manager of the UAE team in 2013. Noticing a significant gap in the aesthetics market and customer demand, I decided to open Helix Medical Solutions in the UAE to serve as a medical equipment supplier. We take pride in being a valuable partner in the success of our customers and patients by providing them with the finest medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare technologies.
What is the mission and vision of Helix Medical Solutions, and how do you see it transforming healthcare in the Middle East?
Our mission is to maximize the quality of the healthcare sector in the UAE by delivering the best solutions, including medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare technologies, to our customers and patients across the MENA region.
Our vision is to inspire hope. We aim to contribute to health and well-being by positioning the Middle East as the premier destination for aesthetics and cosmetic advancements.
What are some of the biggest challenges you have faced in the healthcare startup space, and how have you overcome them?

Keep listening for the market demand, as active listening is the key to success, and find new markets to expand Helix Medical Solutions in the GCC. We are planning to open our branch in Oman in 3 years and then open our branch in Egypt in 5 years.
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs looking to make a difference in the healthcare industry?
First of all, nobody is born an entrepreneur. We all learn by making mistakes and being able to accept constructive criticism and feedback is key to helping your business move forward and stay competitive. Always believe in yourself and remember: success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.
How do you motivate yourself to continue the success journey of Helix Medical Solutions?
It combines your values, desires, and what drives you to complete particular tasks.
My amazing wife, incredible son and beautiful daughter, along with my family, are my motivators to continue pursuing my dreams and achieving my goals. I am especially inspired by my father’s advice; as a businessman, he always gave me valuable guidance to overcome daily challenges.
